Cultures communicate visually. My work explores the visual aesthetic of various cultures as found reflected in both their traditional arts and their written scripts. In each design I am copying and recreating patterns, shapes and compositions from all over the world, and yet filtering them through my own Western sensibilities. Also see Shows.
